"Baginbun Beach, Co. Wexford"
Baginbun beach is located on the Hook Peninsula and not too far from Fethard-on-Sea in County Wexford.
Folklore has it that it got it's name from the two Norman ships "La Bague" and "La Bonne" that landed there in the 12th century, which started the Norman invasion of Ireland. Not long after Richard De Clare, more commomly known as Strongbow", also landed and so Irelands fate was sealed.

Few places along Ireland's coastline possess the quiet beauty and historical significance of Baginbun Beach. This exquisite watercolour painting captures the sweeping curve of its golden sands, where gentle waves roll ashore beneath dramatic cliffs and open skies. The viewer is drawn down the winding pathway towards the secluded beach, inviting them to step into the scene and experience a moment of pure coastal tranquillity.

Anyway there you have it....a little art and a little history about a beautiful part of our little country. Hope you like it!!
