For those of you who are not familiar with Dublin, Clery's was once a famous department store situated on O'Connell Street. More importantly, in the days before mobile phones and social media, Clery's was more famous for being the cities most popular venue for meeting a date. It was very common to see numbers of singletons standing under Clery's clock dressed to the nine's, waiting anxiously. A place that you'd wait and hope not to be stood up, or wait and hope to God she was as good looking as you remember from the week before in the nightclub.. I call this picture "Under Clery's Clock at 8?"
