This is an original painting I did
of a very old and decrepit window shutter I saw on the island of Burano
in Venice. I was completely taken by how the sun had faded and aged the
paint causing it to peel and curl away from the wood and I just loved
putting the time in to capture the detail and tiny shadows cast by the
paint. Hope you like it!
