"Baginbun Beach, Co. Wexford"

Baginbun beach is located on the Hook Peninsula and not too far from Fethard-on-Sea in County Wexford.

Folklore has it that it got it's name from the two Norman ships "La Bague" and "La Bonne" that landed there in the 12th century, which started the Norman invasion of Ireland. Not long after Richard De Clare, more commomly known as Strongbow", also landed and so Irelands fate was sealed.
